Editor-in-Chief, ICTV 10th Report
When is the 10th ICTV report about Adenoviridae going to be uploaded here? Secondly, how I may cite this report in my thesis?
Your kind guidance on the subject matter shall highly be appreciated.
PhD Research Fellow
The ICTV Report can be cited in several ways:
Davison AJ. Journal of General Virology - Introduction to 'ICTV Virus Taxonomy
Profiles'. J Gen Virol. 2017 Jan;98(1):1. doi: 10.1099/jgv.0.000686. PubMed PMID:
28218575; PubMed Central PMCID: PMC5370390.
As for publication of the Report chapter (and Profile) of the family Adenoviridae, I do not believe that publication will take place anytime soon. But the 9th Report chapter on Adenoviridae is available online: https://talk.ictvonline.org/ictv-reports/ictv_9th_report/dsdna-viruses-2011/w/dsdna_viruses/93/adenoviridae.

Thank you Dr. Lefkowitz.
Just to let you know that we are expecting the Adenoviridae chapter of the 10th Report to be submitted at the end of this year, and so it should be published two or three months after that.
Dear Dr. Smith,
That's a great news. I am looking forward to this publication.
I am anxiously waiting for the ICTV 10th report's chapter of Adenoviruses. Can we hope to have it this month?
I'm afraid that the Adenoviridae Report has not been submitted yet - so it is going to be a while yet before you can cite it.
Thank you for the update Dr. Smith.
