Genome organization and replication

Genome layout:

VPg+5'UTRIRES-II[L-1AB-1C-1D/2AH-box/NC-2B-2C/3A-3B-3C-3D]3'UTR-poly(A)

The deduced polyprotein has a length of 2,474 aa. There is a L protein with unknown function. The 1AB protein remains uncleaved. 2A protein contains a H-box/NC motif.

Biology

Viral RNA was detected in the faeces of turkeys and chickens.
